Aqua Systems (UK) Limited was formed in 1984, as a specialist manufacture of Packaged Heating, Power and Water Filtration Systems. The company's growing involvement in engineering aspects of aquaculture and the demand for it's services. 

Aqua Systems has expanded greatly over the past 18 years, to a point where the company re-organised to concentrate solely on the aquaculture industry.

The company provides a complete in-house service to the fish farmer - from initial advice and consultancy, through to the design, fabrication, and installation of fish farming system equipment.

Although the company's business is based mainly in the UK, there are increasing enquiries from overseas and recent large projects carried out includes the design and supply of a Recirculation System for a Marine Fish Hatchery in Sicily, installation of a Marine Fish Research Station in Kuwait and a Tilapia Production System in The Middle East, using Recirculation. In addition, we have supplied Water Treatment and other equipment to Oman, Italy, Indonesia, Turkey, Cyprus, Chile and Greece.

The company has close ties with the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling and has carried out a joint research program with the University. Current research projects include, a new low running cost, high efficiency Oxygen Injection System and the Development of a computerised Model to accurately predict the chemical and biological dynamics of Recirculation Aquaculture Systems.

Through research, product development, unrivalled service and sound advice, Aqua Systems expects to continue increasing it's role and maintain it's position as a major international aquacultural engineering company.
