With ever increasing reliance on farm automation, many farmers find themselves 'losing touch' with the fish

Tank Windows are becoming much more popular as a method of keeping in touch with what is actually going on in the tank. We all see our fish from the surface and when they are being handled.....................

■	Checking the condition of the fish 'en-masse' in their own environment (ie. not flapping about in a net or in your hand.
■	Checking of feeding response... watch the fish throughout the column feeding...... not just those at the surface
■	Using tank lid? This is a much less stressful way to observe your stock (for you and the fish!)
■	Great for teaching aids, public farms and research work for observing fish behaviour.
■	Catch infections in early stages by observing signs such as bulging eyes, lesions and excessive mucus growth much earlier.

The windows are approximately 20cm² (although other sizes can be made to order) and are made of a studded 316 stainless steel frame, which fixes inside the tank, and a strong Perspex window, which fixes outside the tank. The unit is sealed with a silicone beading.

The windows are flexible, which allows them to be fitted to almost any GRP, polyethylene or steel tank, regardless of shape.
